If I could have your attention for just a moment please, I am going to be handing out some handouts, um, that were just hot off the press, um, ah, one is a copyright and confidentiality notice. Obviously we have, you know, spent fifteen years perfecting what we do here, um, and we’re teaching it to you and we just want you actually ensure that you understand that it is ours, and that it is proprietary.
--Rachel Cosgrove, 25 Sep 2009 (0)

Would you steal a car? Would you dismantle this stolen car and put parts of it into other cars?
Would you sell or distribute a stolen car? Would you sell or distribute a car containing stolen parts?
Would you knowingly buy a stolen car? Would you knowingly buy a car that had stolen parts in it.
Stealing is an offence. Selling stolen property is an offence. In most jurisdictions, possessing stolen property is also an offence.
'Stealing' of copyrighted information in physical preparation is no different.

The problem is that you can buy the black belt, make a certificate, and "act as if" all you want. But when push comes to shove--and eventually it will--you're going to be exposed as a white belt. In other words, you're a liar.
--Alwyn Cosgrove and Jason Ferruggia, 200?, The Business, eliteFTS.com

I met and learned from pretty much every name you have ever heard of in this field.  I asked so many questions of these people that I’m sure some of them started to hate me!  Some of them are great people. Some are less than desirable.
--Cosgrove, A.. 2005,  The Professional Fitness Coach Program Design Bible, p. 7

TC should issue a lawsuit to that site for plagiairism. The guy's reply to TC's makes him a total asshole, I was prepared to give him the benefit of the doubt (ie he really wasn't trying to pass the work off as his own - but I now believe he was).
---A. Cosgrove in personal communication to I King, 23 June 2000

That there are so many fucking arseholes in this industry. And so many weirdoes. That most of the guys writing training articles have never actually had to train anyone in order to make ends meet. You'd be surprised if I started dropping names.
--Cosgrove, A., 2009, in an Interview by Chris Shugart titled The Evil Scot: An Interview with Strength and Conditioning Coach, Alwyn Cosgrove, Wed, Aug 17, 2005

... there are lots out there now who have built a reputation based solely on articles and social media networking and Twitter and shit like that. It's fucking marketing, not training.
--Cosgrove, A., 2009, in an Interview by Bryan Krahn titled The Sucker Punch: Alwyn Cosgrove,  Tue, Aug 04, 2009

I fucking hate hearing these exact grams and percentages. How do you measure that? It's made up shit. It annoys me cause it hurts our field
--Cosgrove, A., 2009, in an Interview by Bryan Krahn titled The Sucker Punch: Alwyn Cosgrove,  Tue, Aug 04, 2009

I think people forget that marketing is just method at communicating your message, right, but if your message on the back end stinks, right, then your, all you’re doing is, ah, tricking people. Because there’s a fine line between a, a sales pitch and a, a positioning and an outright lie, And  I think a lot of people are crossing that to an extent.
---Cosgrove, A.,2009, interview of Mike Boyle by A. Cosgrove, 2009, State of the Industry

I said what I believe in my soul Ain't what I see with my eyes And we can't turn our backs this time --Jackson Browne, I am a patriot
(alternatively I could have cut and pasted Jackson's lyrics, changed a word or two, moved around another word or so, and claimed copyright for it...)
