This
program is considered the ‘foundation’ of all subsequent study
of Ian King’s methods, and King Sports International strongly
advise all our students to begin their educational journey with
this program.
In
addition to covering the fundamentals of Ian’s approach to
physical preparation, more advanced concepts are presented. For
example, in this program, Ian talks for the first time about a
training concept that he has developed - a tool that will
enhance your ability to predict and prevent injuries, and
predict performance trends in individuals and teams.
The
concepts covered in the Foundations of Physical Preparation
program will give you a totally new insight into physical
preparation. For anyone seriously intent on mastering Ian King's
theories and methods, this program should be the first one
reviewed!
This
program is a day seminar edited down to approximately 5 hours.

Ian, The Foundations program has been outstanding.
You are exactly right to make this a "prerequisite" for
your other courses and seminars. I came upon you
quite by accident and at first sought only information
that I thought I needed. I pulled info "out of
order" - (Complete Strength Spec. Course first then
seminar (GB) then purchase of other material.) In
short, while completing FPP I gained a greater
appreciation of material I studied "out of order".
Its amazing how much I've learned by reviewing same
material after FPP as compared to before. On a
larger scale I discovered that I truly need a broader
perspective from which to learn and not a narrow focus.

The Foundations course is an excellent course for those
wishing to gain an understanding of the factors that
contribute to athletic performance and physical
preparation. It should be the minimum for anyone
involved in the prep/training of athletes or teams,
especially those students studying for degrees that will
